Kajaria Ceramics to acquire Kajaria Plywood

Kajaria Ceramics plans to acquire Kajaria Plywood to enter into the plywood business, the company said in a BSE filing. The company has proposed to invest Rs 15 crore to acquire over 50% shares of KPPL. "After completion of the proposed investment, KPPL would become a subsidiary of the company," it said. It also announced re-appointment of H. Rathnakar Hegde as the 'Independent Director' of the company for the further period of consecutive five years w.e.f. April 2019 to March 2024.
