UltraTech Cement has completed key debottlenecking initiatives to boost its production capabilities as part of its ongoing capacity expansion programs. These efforts have increased production capacity of 1.2 million tons per annum (mtpa), further strengthening the company's manufacturing capabilities.
The successful capacity expansion includes the following key developments: Hirmi, Chhattisgarh (Integrated Unit): An additional 0.8 mtpa of production capacity has been added at the integrated unit. Roorkee, Uttarakhand (Grinding Unit): The grinding unit has seen an increase of 0.4 mtpa in capacity.
As a result of these initiatives, the company's total domestic grey cement manufacturing capacity has now reached 178.86 mtpa. When combined with its overseas capacity of 5.4 mtpa, the company's global cement production capacity has reached a total of 184.26 mtpa.
These capacity enhancements are part of UltraTech Cement's strategic focus on improving operational efficiency and meeting the growing demand for high-quality cement products across domestic and international markets.
