3M has announced the appointment of Prasad Kale as Vice President – Planning and Logistics. With over two decades of experience across Marico Limited, PPG Asian Paints, and ITC Limited, Kale brings deep expertise in operational excellence, integrated planning, and cross-functional leadership.
During his 13-year tenure at Marico, he held multiple leadership roles including Head of Planning, Plant Head, Plant Production & Supply Chain Manager, and Production Executive. These roles helped him build strong capabilities in end-to-end supply chain operations, manufacturing performance, and high-impact team development.
Earlier, Kale contributed to production management, process optimization, and operational governance at PPG Asian Paints and ITC Limited, strengthening his foundation in supply chain leadership. With academic credentials from SPJIMR Mumbai and LIT Nagpur, he combines strategic insight with hands-on experience.
In his new role at 3M, Kale will drive planning and logistics transformation, enhance customer responsiveness, and reinforce the organisation’s supply chain backbone to support sustainable, future-ready growth.
