Frangipani Estates, one of Bengaluru’s most exclusive gated communities, has added another marquee resident to its roster. Prakash Venkatesan, Founder of Essae Digitronics—India’s largest weighbridge manufacturer—has acquired a 37,343 sq ft estate off Sarjapur Road for approximately Rs 20 crore.
The transaction highlights Frangipani’s growing appeal among industry leaders seeking expansive, future-ready homes in a serene, well-connected enclave. With only 33 bespoke estates ranging from 20,000 to 45,000 sq ft, the community is known for its by-invitation-only ethos and thoughtfully planned infrastructure.
Venkatesan evaluated several luxury projects before choosing Frangipani, citing its estate-scale plots, nature-first design, and proximity to key hubs like Whitefield, Electronic City, and the Outer Ring Road. His future neighbors include Murali Krishnan of Biocon, adding to the community’s reputation for shared values and quiet distinction.
Founded in 1996, Essae Digitronics manufactures precision weighing systems for heavy-duty vehicles, serving sectors from logistics to infrastructure. Venkatesan’s acquisition reflects a growing trend of industrial entrepreneurs investing in lifestyle-led real estate.
SPA Group’s Managing Director, Prashant Kajaria, welcomed the new resident: “Mr. Venkatesan’s connection to nature and his grounded approach to living align perfectly with our vision for Frangipani—a sanctuary where meaningful living takes precedence over mere opulence.”
With this latest acquisition, Frangipani Estates continues to shape a new standard for gated luxury—where space, privacy, and community converge.
