Officebanao has announced the appointment of Ashish Malhotra as Business Head – North India, marking a significant addition to its leadership team. With an exceptional track record in real estate advisory, regional business scale‑up, and client partnerships, Ashish is set to drive Officebanao’s growth across the NCR region.
Ashish joins Officebanao after more than a decade at Knight Frank India, where he most recently served as Senior Director and MRICS. His earlier tenure at JLL India further honed his expertise across office, data centre, and commercial real estate mandates for clients including Emerson, Citibank, and Ion Exchange.
Throughout his career, Ashish has been instrumental in executing some of India’s most notable real estate transactions. He closed the largest managed office deal of 2020 for Magic Software at Smartworks during the Covid period, delivered Knight Frank’s largest mandate for STT GDC in Noida, and played a pivotal role in leasing 3 lakh sq. ft. to Samsung Electronics for its India headquarters at Two Horizon Centre — one of the biggest commercial deals of 2016.
An alumnus of IMT Ghaziabad, Ashish combines strategic clarity with a relationship‑first leadership style, shaped by a deep understanding of evolving markets and client decision‑making. His appointment underscores Officebanao’s commitment to strengthening its leadership bench and expanding its footprint in North India’s competitive commercial real estate landscape.
