Polycab India Limited has announced the appointment of Shashi Amin as Director and CEO (B2B Channel & Corporate Communication), marking a strategic leadership move to strengthen the company’s B2B and corporate communications strategy. In this role, Amin will spearhead growth across institutional and enterprise channels while deepening Polycab’s engagement with key stakeholders in the electrical and electronics ecosystem.
A seasoned industry leader, Amin brings over three decades of experience across the cables, wires, and electrical manufacturing sector. Prior to this appointment, he served as CEO – Cable Solutions at APAR Industries Limited and as Vice President at the Indian Electrical & Electronics Manufacturers’ Association (IEEMA).
His long and distinguished association with Polycab India Limited spans multiple leadership roles, including Executive President & CBO – Cables, President & SBU Head – Cables, and Vice President Sales. Earlier in his career, Amin held senior positions at Arc Electrics, BICC Bahrain, and Nicco Corporation Limited, underscoring his deep expertise in sales leadership, business development, and industry advocacy.
