Rustomjee Group has announced the launch of two Net Zero Carbon Clubhouses at Belle Vue, Kasara Hills, its first plotted development project near Igatpuri. Recognized by the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) with a Carbon Net Zero Certification (Design), the initiative reflects Rustomjee’s commitment to low‑carbon materials, renewable energy, and eco‑friendly design.
Set against the natural terrain of the Sahyadri Hills, Belle Vue is envisioned as a gated community that places environmental stewardship at the core of its design. From solar‑powered infrastructure to responsible water and waste systems, the project embodies Rustomjee’s long‑term focus on climate‑conscious development.
Commenting on the milestone, Boman Rustom Irani, Chairman & MD, Rustomjee Group, said: “Belle Vue represents a deliberate and focused shift toward responsible development. The net zero carbon clubhouses are a model of how sustainability can be embedded at every level, starting with the everyday spaces people gather in.”
The clubhouses are designed to run entirely on solar energy, supported by passive ventilation, energy‑efficient HVAC systems, and green roofs that blend into the natural landscape. Construction has followed a Green Procurement Policy, prioritizing eco‑labelled and Green‑Pro certified materials to minimize embodied carbon.
Namrata Nulwalla, Chief Sustainability Officer, Rustomjee Group, added: “At Belle Vue, sustainability isn’t a checklist, it is a design principle. Every element, from material sourcing to water reuse and energy generation, has been approached with purpose.”
Belle Vue’s broader sustainability blueprint includes rainwater harvesting ponds, bio‑STPs for wastewater treatment, zero‑waste strategies, and solar‑powered community infrastructure. Future phases will extend green certifications to villas and shared amenities, reinforcing the project’s vision of sustainable living.
Located within easy reach of Mumbai and Pune, Belle Vue offers residents climate‑resilient living amidst natural beauty, positioning the development as both a premium destination and a conscious legacy for future generations.
