Priyansh Kapoor to take over as Managing Director and CEO at Arvind SmartSpaces

Arvind SmartSpaces Limited (ASL), part of the Lalbhai Group, has unveiled a planned leadership transition as part of its long‑term succession strategy. Priyansh Kapoor, who has been serving as Whole‑time Director & CEO, has now been re‑designated as Managing Director & CEO effective February 10, 2026. Kamal Singal, who has led the company for over 15 years, will step down from his current role but continue as Whole‑time Director overseeing Strategy & Investments, while also taking on a broader group mandate.

The Board described this move as a structured succession process initiated in July 2025, aimed at ensuring leadership continuity and sustainable growth. Chairman Kulin Lalbhai said the transition builds on the strong foundation created under Kamal’s leadership, noting: “We are delighted to designate Priyansh Kapoor as MD & CEO and are confident that, with his proven execution capabilities and deep understanding of the real estate business, he will scale the company to the next orbit in coming years.”

Reflecting on his journey, Kamal Singal remarked: “After more than 15 years with ASL, I had the privilege of leading the company through multiple market cycles. Together with the Board and team, we built a strong, resilient organisation with a clear long‑term vision. I look forward to contributing at the board level, working closely with Kulin and Priyansh.”

Priyansh Kapoor, in his first comments as MD & CEO, emphasized continuity and growth: “Over the past six months as WTD & CEO, I’ve gained deep understanding of the Group’s brand and legacy, and the company’s strengths. As I assume the new role, my focus will be on building a strong project pipeline, strengthening execution capabilities, and delighting our customers.
