‘Realogy’, the only residential real estate brokerage on the 2018 Fortune 500 list

On Thursday, Realogy announced that it’s the only residential real estate franchisor or brokerage on the 2018 Fortune 500 list of the biggest companies by revenue in America. Realogy Holdings Corporation is the home of NRT, Coldwell Banker, Century 21, ERA, Sotheby’s International and Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate. This year, Realogy came in at No. 458 due to $6.1 billion in revenues and $431 million in profits in the fiscal year 2017. From past 12 years, the company has made the list eight times with five of the appearances happening from 2013 to 2018. There are many other real estate companies who made it to the list which are commercial or other types of firms but no brokerages, holding companies, or franchises. In Q1, Realogy reported a revenue of $1.2 billion and aggregate home sale volume of $1 billion, putting them on track to make the Fortune 500 list again in 2019.
