CapitaLand Investment (CLI) has appointed Quaiser Parvez as the Chief Executive Officer for its India business, reinforcing its leadership team as the company continues to expand its presence in one of its key growth markets.
Parvez brings more than two decades of experience in the real estate sector, with expertise spanning platform leadership, capital markets, corporate governance and operations. Over the course of his career, he has led the growth and management of several of India's prominent office portfolios and Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) platforms.
In his new role, Parvez will oversee CLI's operations in India and steer the company's strategic priorities across its business parks, data centre and logistics portfolios. He will also be responsible for driving growth initiatives and strengthening the company's position in the country's institutional real estate market.
CLI said Parvez's extensive experience in institutional real estate, coupled with his proven track record in execution, leadership and stakeholder management, will help accelerate the company's growth ambitions in India. His appointment is expected to support the creation of long-term value for CLI's capital partners and investors.
India remains one of CapitaLand Investment's priority markets, with the company continuing to expand its footprint across commercial real estate and new economy assets as demand for high-quality business parks, logistics facilities and digital infrastructure gathers pace.
