Rodic Consultants, a leading engineering and digital infrastructure consulting firm, has announced the appointment of Nagendra Nath Sinha, IAS (Retd.), as the Managing Director of its newly formed, wholly owned subsidiary-Rodic Digital & Advisory. The new entity is a strategic move to expand Rodic’s capabilities beyond engineering execution into intelligent digital platforms, data-driven governance, and strategic advisory services.
Rodic Digital & Advisory, previously conceptualized as Rodic Advisory & Technologies, represents a major leap forward in the company's evolution from being an execution partner to becoming the strategic intelligence layer for infrastructure and governance stakeholders. It focuses on delivering real-time, AI-enabled, and actionable insights that help institutions make bold, evidence-based decisions.
Under Sinha’s leadership, the subsidiary aims to harness cutting-edge digital tools to bridge the gap between project execution and policy-level decision-making. It will empower governments and institutions through live operational data platforms, transforming raw data into strategic intelligence that supports faster, smarter governance.
Raj Kumar, Chairman & Managing Director of Rodic Consultants, stated, “Rodic Digital & Advisory brings together our engineering depth and digital intelligence to deliver a new kind of advisory that’s informed, execution-aware, and rooted in evidence. We are delighted to welcome Shri Sinha, whose legacy of transformative digital leadership aligns perfectly with these goals.”
Commenting on his new role, Shri Nagendra Nath Sinha said, “I am excited to lead Rodic Digital & Advisory at a time when real-time data and digital intelligence are becoming essential to how infrastructure and governance evolve. The opportunity here is to connect execution with strategy, and insight with action to create systems that are not only smart but deeply responsive to public needs.”
A senior bureaucrat from the 1987 batch (Jharkhand cadre), Shri Sinha brings decades of administrative leadership across ministries such as Steel, Rural Development, Border Management, and Transport. He has served as Secretary to the Government of India in both the Ministry of Rural Development and Ministry of Steel, and has also held key roles as Chairman of the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and Managing Director of NHIDCL. His strategic vision has played a central role in several landmark infrastructure projects, including the Delhi–Mumbai Expressway, Zojila Tunnel, and India’s Greening Roadmap for the steel sector.
