After electric cars, Vingroup JSC is set to enter into electric two-wheelers and electric buses (e-Bus) in India from next year, and wants to build smart cities across India. Furthermore, the company also has plans of building resorts and hospitals across the country, and is in talks with various state governments.
“Our chairman’s vision is to make India the second Vietnam, which means we want to bring the whole ecosystem of Vingroup in India. We want to build smart cities across India and a smart city needs at least 2,000 acres of land,” Pham Sanh Chau, Chief Executive Officer, VinFast Asia told media.
The second one is to go all green energy with VinEnergo. The company is already operating in Philippines and Indonesia. It has got 4,000 megawatts in those projects and plans to do the same in India.
