Chief minister Yogi Adityanath is expected to inaugurate and dedicate infrastructure projects worth Rs 782 crore. Although the Noida Authority is busy compiling a list of projects that can be unveiled, the underground parking in Film City and indoor stadium were among those that would make it to the list of inaugurations.The status of 79 projects that are being executed with a budget of Rs 1 crore to Rs 110 crore each was being examined. The names of those projects, whose foundation stone could be laid by the chief minister, were also being finalised.Authority had listed 33 projects worth Rs 523 crore that have either been completed or are in the final stages. Work on the remaining 46 projects is likely to begin soon. “Several important projects have been executed recently and will be dedicated to the residents of the city during UP Day celebrations,” said Rajeev Tyagi, the chief general manager of the Authority.The Authority has already completed the multi-level underground parking lot with a budget of Rs 110 crore. Having a capacity to accommodate 1,292 four-wheelers, the complex will solve parking and traffic congestion problems in Film City area, which houses a number of offices and media agencies.Commissioned with a budget of Rs 115 crore, the stadium in Sector 21A will have the capacity to house 4,000 spectators. A shooting range in the complex can hold another 800 individuals. The Authority has spent Rs 66.5 crore on improving the conditions of roads, pavements and the common area of shopping arcade in the market along with lighting work. In phases, the Authority is also planning to phase out surface parking. Shoppers and businessmen have, however, said that the move had been inconveniencing them. Completed with a budget of Rs 58 crore, the two parks are expected to emerge as the green lungs for residents of nearby sectors in the future. A laser light and musical fountain has also been set up in the Biodiversity Park to attract visitors.
