In a bold stride toward architectural transformation, 3A Composites India has expanded its flagship ALUCOBOND® portfolio with next-generation ALUCORE® variants—ALUCORE® Honeycomb Panels and ALUCORE® ACCP—designed to meet the evolving demands of Indian architects. Engineered for strength, versatility, and fire safety, both variants offer lightweight performance and design flexibility for complex façades, roofing, and walkable surfaces.
Manufactured at the company’s intelligent facility in Ranjangaon, Maharashtra, ALUCORE® is now widely deployed across India and exported to Asia Pacific and the Middle East. The product’s legacy includes landmark installations at Visakhapatnam Airport, Patna Airport, Lulu Mall Lucknow, and Max Towers NOIDA, with new deployments underway in high-rise, transit, and commercial infrastructure.
“ALUCORE® empowers architects to push boundaries in performance and safety,” said Mr. Ranjeet Sharma, President & CEO, 3A Composites India. “Its strength-to-weight ratio and marine-grade durability make it ideal for India’s demanding climate and skyline ambitions.”
The Honeycomb variant features an aluminium core sandwiched between skins, delivering exceptional rigidity and wind resistance. The ACCP variant uses a corrugated core for enhanced structural integrity. Both meet Class A2-s1, d0 fire classification under EN 31501-1 standards, making them suitable for high-traffic and critical infrastructure zones.
ALUCORE® also aligns with India’s green building goals. “It’s 100% recyclable and supports intelligent, sustainable design,” said Mr. Amar Kirale, Associate VP. The company has launched a nationwide outreach program with architects, including live demos and experiential sessions.
Surface finishes range from metallics and wood textures to custom RAL and PANTONE shades, with fabrication precision ensured through ALUCORE® CLAD—its ready-to-install panel service. Globally, ALUCORE® was used in Beijing Daxing International Airport, designed by Zaha Hadid, covering over 6.5 lakh sq. ft. of roofing.
Closer home, ALUCOBOND® itself has made headlines with 2.5 lakh sq. ft. of façade cladding at the newly inaugurated Navi Mumbai International Airport, also designed by Hadid. Together, ALUCORE® and ALUCOBOND® continue to shape India’s architectural future—one panel at a time.
