Anirban Goon Joins CBRE Mumbai as Director – Office Leasing

Anirban Goon has taken on a new role as Director – Office Leasing at CBRE Mumbai, marking a return to the international property consultancy (IPC) space. With prior stints at Colliers and JLL, Goon brings deep expertise in broker partnerships, asset acquisition, and business growth.

Announcing the move, he described it as a proud homecoming—one filled with renewed energy and deep respect for the industry that shaped his journey. “Rejoining the IPC industry marks a proud homecoming, filled with renewed energy and deep respect for this dynamic industry. The experiences and relationships I’ve built here have shaped my journey, filling me with a strong drive to contribute fresh perspectives and uphold the industry’s legacy,” he shared.

He also expressed gratitude to Rajesh Prasad and Tanaz Lala for their support in opening this new chapter. “With gratitude and excitement, I step forward, ready to honour the past, embrace new opportunities, and make a meaningful impact in the industry I hold in the highest regard.”

Goon’s appointment comes at a time when Mumbai’s office leasing market is seeing renewed momentum, with CBRE continuing to strengthen its leadership bench to meet evolving client needs. His return signals both continuity and fresh perspective in a sector that thrives on relationships, agility, and strategic foresight.
