JSW Steel has announced the appointment of Gangadhar Krishnamoorthy as Senior Vice President – Manufacturing & SCM Excellence, a role in which he will lead strategic initiatives to enhance operational performance and supply chain management across the company’s manufacturing ecosystem.
This elevation follows his impactful tenure at KPMG India, where he spearheaded business transformation consulting, architecting EBITDA improvement programs and digital roadmaps for global leaders in steel, aluminum, and mining.
With over three decades of experience, Gangadhar has built a world-class reputation in Industry 4.0 and digital manufacturing. His career includes senior leadership roles at EY, Tech Mahindra, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), and Wipro, where he drove digital innovation and operational excellence. His deep domain expertise is rooted in a 16-year foundation at Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), where he served as Senior Manager of Electrical, overseeing erection, commissioning, and process automation of complex steel melting and rolling mill units.
By combining extensive hands-on industrial experience with high-level advisory roles, Gangadhar brings an unparalleled “pit-to-port” perspective to JSW Steel. His focus will be on converging production centers into digitally enabled, smart-workplace ecosystems, aligning with JSW Steel’s vision of sustainable growth and technological leadership in the metals sector.
