Alembic Real Estate, the real estate arm of country’s oldest pharmaceutical company Alembic Group of Companies, announced that Vadodara will soon see its tallest building.
“With the completion of construction on the 22nd slab, Veda II – is now the tallest building in Vadodara. This critical milestone makes us the forerunner of high-rise living in Vadodara,” Udit Amin, Director of Alembic Real Estate said.
Amin said that the project was launched in 2019. “We could come up with the project since the Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) changed its bylaws. It will be Vadodara’s new towering landmark which has a club house on 21st floor,” he said.
The firm said it has taken special permissions from VMC, Airports Authority of India (AAI, fire departments and ensured structural safety norms for construction of the residential building.
“While the total number of flats are 367, we have also kept on refuge flat for emergency escape,” he said, adding that fire hydrant systems have been kept at each tower on each floor area.
Amin said that the firm may invest Rs 500 crore to Rs 700 crore in the next two to three years for its future projects in Vadodara and Bengaluru where it has completed four residential projects of over 30,50,000 square feet.
