Hero Realty's groundbreaking film, ‘Making of Impossible,’ has taken the industry by storm, premiering and securing a nomination in the Best Short Film category at Kolkata’s illustrious Continental Harmony Film Festival 2023 held recently.
Hero Realty, known for delivering super-hit real estate projects, has created a cinematic marvel, delivering an incredible performance with its content on various national and international platforms. ‘Making of Impossible’ is the first-ever real estate film shot in a realty format, providing an unprecedented behind-the-scenes look into a 14-day journey behind achieving this almost impossible world record.
In a revolutionary move, Hero Realty embarked on an uncharted path, using a non-conventional format that brought to life the near-impossible journey of five visionary leaders. Undeterred by extreme adversity, logistical challenges, and a team still in its induction phase, these individuals set out to create a world record in a mere 14 days. “This is impossible, this can't be done," were the words that greeted us at the outset,” Ashish Kaul, the project's team leader and film director and Hero Realty's very own Chief Marketing Officer, recalls.
‘Making of Impossible’ was showcased as a corporate short film at the Continental Harmony Short Film Gala 2023, hosted by the 'Ashoknagar Shankari Banerjee Film Society.' This prestigious International Short Film Festival, held from the 5th to the 7th of October 2023 at Kolkata's Rotary Sadan, was an extraordinary occasion for the production because it rubbed shoulders with other evnironment-friendly, non-political, and non-religious films from across the globe, each highlighting the fusion of art, culture, and the enchantment of cinema.
The film chronicles the awe-inspiring odyssey of crafting the world's largest Diya, an astounding 1000 kg giant measuring 3.37 meters in diameter. This monumental Diya symbolised peace, secularism, and humanism, spreading its radiant message to a world still reeling from the effects of a two-year-long COVID-19 lockdown. The ‘Making of Impossible’ captures the compelling narrative of determination and the unwavering belief in the human spirit.
Initially dismissed as impossible even by the Guinness World Records team, something magical occurred. The team accomplished the incredible feat in just 14 days, compressing what was once considered unachievable into an even tighter timeline. This remarkable journey is a testament to the indomitable human spirit and the valour that arises in adversity, turning ordinary individuals into true heroes. Hero Realty's short film is a testament to the power of determination, and it has undoubtedly changed the world with ‘Making of Impossible.’
