Omaxe Elevates Mohit Goel to Post of Managing Director

Omaxe has redesignated Mohit Goel as its new Managing Director from his present designation of CEO & whole time director with immediate effect. Consequently, Mohit Goel ceased to be the CEO of the company with immediate effect. The board of directors also re-designated Rohtas Goel, promoter of Omaxe group, as chairman & whole time director of the company. Rohtas Goel was earlier the chairman & Managing Director of the firm. These appointments are subject to shareholders' approval, the company said in the regulatory filing. The company had recently appointed Sunil Goel, brother of Rohtas Goel, as additional director (executive). The appointment was with effect from October 1 and is for the next five years. Sunil Goel was removed from the board of directors in 2017.
